2009 BLRC Golf Tournament

Golf Tournament Details:

Date: Friday June 26th, 2009

Place: Delta Golf Course, 11550 #10 Highway (right by the #91 Highway) Delta

Time: 1:00pm Shotgun start (please arrive at 12:30pm for registration)

Cost: $60.00 per player (payable in cash or cheque - made out to the BLRC) - Hole sponsorships ($50 per hole) are also available to those looking to increase the exposure of their business.

To All Golfers,
The date is set for the 2009 Golf Tournament. Please mark your calendars, tell all your friends and start practicing!

In an effort to keep the cost down and encourage more participation, we have changed the date from a Saturday to a Friday afternoon. We are also holding the Tournament at Delta Golf Course this year. The course has a good mix of par 3's, 4's and 5's and a nice blend of trees, bunkers and water features. There will be a Hole-in-One hole, longest drive, closest to pin, putting contest and a 50/50 Draw.

Following the Tournament, there will be a brief gathering and prize presentation. There will not be a sit-down banquet this year, but food and drinks can be bought from the course to eat while prizes are being given out.

After our festivities at Delta Golf Course, we encourage all golfers to head back to the Burnaby Lake Clubhouse (20 minute drive) for a Clive’s Famous Baron of Beef and a few social drinks on the patio. At 8pm we will be starting a Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament that is open to everyone, so invite all your gambling friends.

Note: Carts are not included in the tournament cost. Power carts, pull carts and clubs are available to rent from the Course but must be arranged beforehand. See Tyler.
