Burnaby Women and Velox Women Renew Their Rivalry

Both Burnaby Women's teams travelled to Velox March 12.

Great Saturday for Burnaby

Saturday March 5th saw Burnaby Lake Rugby Club host four games in what was a glorious day for rugby. Three of four games were won by the Blue and White, injecting fuel into the evening's festivities. The Second Div. Women were unfortunate to go down 34-0 to Nanaimo. The Third Division Men won a 57-7 decision against Chilliwack; the Premier women won 31-0 over United and the Premier Men won 95-10 over Cowichan.

1st Div Game Cancelled.

Cowichan have unfortunately had to cancel the 1st div game.

This is our 1st home game for 4 months so everyone is expected to come out regardless & make this a great club day, help is needed with field set up etc etc

The date of Sat March 12th will see a full slate of games at Burnaby Lake vs Bayside.

Schedule is as follows:

11.00am – 12.00 –Warm up/drills/Team Runs
12.00pm – 12.30pm – Law/Interpretation Guidance from Gerry Clayton & Sherry Trumbull (BC Premier Refs)
12.30pm-1.30 pm – BLRC inter squad reffed by Gerry or Sherry with situational breakdown & feedback/guidance – 3 x 20 min sessions
1.30pm-2.00pm – Poss more inter squad or Q & A

A letter by Kris De Scossa.

Hi Everyone,

As you may or may not know, Kris De Scossa has been selected to coach the Welsh Sr. Women's team. This means that he has to leave the head coaching position at BLRC in order to pursue this opportunity. He has written a letter that explains his decision which can be found on the link.
