Mini Rugby Practice - Sunday Nov. 22 - is ON
Practice is ON.
I'm sure you are all aware it's a little wet outside today, but we are going to brave the elements. It seems to be raining less than it did last week, so we should all be fine. Remember to have your players layer up and dress appropriately, maybe even a change of clothes for after.

Due to the weather and field closure, the BCRugby Jamboree has been cancelled. In light of this we will be planning on holding a regular practice, Sunday November 22nd at 10am @ Burnaby Lake.
Check the website, www.blrc.bc.ca, and for emails Sunday morning, by 9am if practice is being cancelled due to weather. If it's pouring rain and based on our field conditions it might be called off. As we stand the fields are quite wet, and spotted with puddles. We will take the morning's weather into consideration, as we do not have the clubhouse available to use this weekend.
BCRugby will try to reschedule the Jamboree for next weekend, depending on the weather.

CANCELLED Sunday Nov 8 Mini Rugby Practice
PRACTICE IS CANCELLED.
As I'm sure you all know, it rained through the night last night; and is currently pouring outside. Due to the lack of indoor facilities for parents, and after practice snacks. And not to forget the puddled fields that will now only be worse than they were yesterday.
Enjoy your Sunday indoors, while staying dry and warm. Watch for emails coming this week.

Mini Rugby Jamboree - October 25th
Hello BLRC mini rugby players & parents,
We are confirmed to attend the Mini Rugby Jamboree hosted by the Vancouver Rowers Rugby club at Brockton Oval this Sunday Oct 25th from 9:30am -12:30pm.
Games start at 10am, please arrive at Brockton Oval by 9:30am to warm-up. All BLRC mini players will be getting games in their age groups. Jamborees are lots of fun… please email to confirm your child will be attending – we need to know numbers. Thanks.
Carpooling is suggested for this weekend as there is a 10km running event around the Stanley Park seawall – so not sure about lots of parking. To get to Brockton Oval at Stanley Park – go through the parking lot towards the Aquarium & just after the Aquarium the road forks – take the right fork down to the Oval.
If you need a ride, please email us before Saturday to make arrangements. And please email us to confirm your availability.
D'Alice by email dalicem@gmail.com or by phone 778.773.4147. Or Trish by email at trishsl@telus.net.
